Here is some information about my services….

Proofreading

I can give your work one final check before it goes to print. Whether it’s a novel, a short story, a blog post or even website content, I can check for errors in typing, spelling or grammar and I can check for inconsistencies across the document, including in formatting and layout. I can work with a PDF file, in Word with Track Changes or in Pages or Google Docs with comments, whatever suits your needs.

Proof Editing

You may feel that, although your work is complete, there could be some things at sentence level that need to be polished. It might be that you have edited your work yourself but you’d like my input too. In this case I can perform a proof edit where I proofread your document and suggest any edits at sentence level to improve the flow and readability of your work.

Beta Reading (Fiction)

Have you written a novel or a short story? Would you like some general feedback on your work? I can read your novel or short story and tell you how the story could be received by your target readership. For instance, I could tell you how well your opening engages the reader or if there are any general plot points that need attention. You will receive a written summary of my overall impression of the story.
